Jake Paul Responds To Conor McGregor And Nate Diaz: "Thank You For The Attention"

Jake Paul was quick to respond to MMA stars Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz's social media jabs aimed towards him following his split-decision victory over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

The victory moved Paul's professional boxing record to 4-0 and his performance garnered criticism from some of the combat sports community, headlined by McGregor and Diaz who sent out the following tweets that were pretty obvious shots at the display from the social media star.

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

Paul spoke with reporters during the post-fight conference following the win over Woodley on Sunday night in Cleveland, Ohio, and was quick to respond to the two UFC headliners. He first went after the Irishman and said he should focus on other things than Paul given his current career struggles and would be an easier matchup for him than Woodley was.

“Conor McGregor has a lot more to focus on than me right now,” said Paul (h/t MMA Fighting) “I’m five wins in a row. He’s 1-3 in the past four years. The guy needs to get off his little vodka or whatever his brand is and sober up and start to get back in the gym, and then we can f*cking fight. But to be honest, no way he hits harder than Woodley. He doesn’t weigh as much as Woodley. He’s shorter than Woodley. I said it before the fight – I think Woodley’s a harder fight than him, especially on the way where he’s going. Conor’s going down, I’m going up. Woodley came in game. We’ll see.”

He then went on to address Diaz and was pretty blunt when calling the former UFC title challenger a loser and fanboy.

“Another loser, talking up,” Paul said. “Of course, he wants a payday. I’m one of the money fighters now in boxing. The guy’s got a chin, but he doesn’t land punches, right? So that fight’s there, no problem. Thank you for the attention. Thank you for watching me. I appreciate it, fanboy.”
