Jake Paul Says Boxing Match With Nate Diaz "Is Going To Happen"

Jake Paul has agreed to box former UFC star Ben Askren and has now claimed that Nate Diaz is interested in a boxing fight after he faces Askren.

Paul was speaking to Heavy and has revealed that his team has been speaking to Diaz's representatives about a potential boxing match. Paul claims that Diaz has two fight left on his UFC deal and that once he finishes up his fights for the promotion, he would be interested in boxing Paul.

“Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz is going to happen. We’re talking to Diaz’s team. He wants to do it as well. He has two more fights with the UFC apparently. So we’ll see what happens. If he frees up from the UFC, that’s the fight.”

Diaz has weighed in on Paul previously and seemed keen on a fight when he threatened Paul saying to the YouTuber turned boxer "You need your ass beat." Diaz has some of the crispest boxing in the UFC and should Paul be victorious over Askren on April 17, a matchup with the Stockton native would represent a much high calibre of striker for the YouTuber.
