A matchup between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz and top contender Alexsandar Rakic is being targeted for a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on March 26.
Ariel Helwani was the first to report the news of the matchup but did say nothing has officially been signed yet and the promotion itself has yet to officially announce anything regarding the bout. Blachowicz is 5-1 in his last six Octagon outings but will try to bounce back from a second-round TKO loss to new UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira back at UFC 267. Rakic meanwhile is on a two-fight winning streak currently and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over former UFC title challenger Thiago Santos back at UFC 259.
