Jarred Brooks In At UFC 208

Following the withdraw of Neil Seery from UFC 208 after a death in the family, Jarred Brooks will step in on short notice to fight Ian McCall at UFC 208.

Brooks (11-0-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he has seen five of his professional MMA wins come by first round finish. Brooks also competed once under the World Series Of Fighting banner, defeating Junji Ito at the WSOF Global Japan 1. Brooks also holds a unanimous decision win over Titan Fighting Championships veteran Abdiel Velasquez at the House Of Fame 4 event in 2015.

McCall (13-5-1) has only won just two of six fights under the UFC banner, defeating Iliarde Santos and Brad Pickett, while suffering defeats to Demetrious Johnson, Joseph Benavidez and John Lineker, plus he fought Johnson to a draw in their first fight at UFC On FX 2. McCall also fought three times under the Tachi Palace Fights banner, where he defeated UFC veterans Dustin Ortiz, Darrell Montague and Jussier Formiga. McCall hasn’t competed in over two years, which is due to a mixture of injuries and various fight cancelations.

UFC 208 takes place on Saturday, February 11 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie headlining.
