Joe Rogan Re-Signs With The UFC

After much speculation regarding his future with the company, Joe Rogan will hang around with the UFC -- for a year, at least.

On the most recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan noted that he'd re-signed with the UFC for another year.

"I was on the fence. I just do too much sh-t. I'm too f-cking busy. After a while I don't know if I'm doing myself or all the different things I do a disservice. I was real close. It was like, either I'm just going to completely bail off of this or I'm going figure it out," Rogan told guest Jeremy Stephens.

There were question marks surrounding his contract status after an episode with Demetrious Johnson where he mentioned that his contract was up in August.  Rogan cited travel and time away from home as reasons he contemplated not re-signing. However, Rogan pointed to UFC 196 as a reason he's hanging around.

"That night was so crazy and so chaotic. I walked out of there going, ‘How could I not do this?' I'm sitting cageside for the craziest sh-t in the sporting world ever," Rogan said.

Rogan had stated that he would leave the UFC if the Fertitta Brothers ended up selling the UFC, which happened earlier this month. Dana White, however, is remaining with the company as a President.

In addition to color commentary duties and his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan is a successful stand-up comedian.
