There is no word yet on when the UFC Ultimate Fighter will be returning to the airwaves, but the coaches for the show may have already been revealed.
UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, during an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, revealed that UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa will serve as the coaches for the reality show.
“Oh, they’re bringing it back by the way,” Rogan said (via Lewis Mckeever of Bloody Elbow). “Paulo Costa and Israel Adesanya. Yea, holy sh-t. Tell me you’re not gonna watch that.”
Outside of teasing the return of the reality program, UFC President Dana White hasn’t revealed any other information about the return of TUF, including the coaches or weight classes of the fighters competing on it. No word has also been given yet on how TUF will be broadcasted, as the UFC is currently involved with ESPN, leaving thee possibility for the show to air on a multitude of platforms.
The final season, to date, of the reality show was the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28, which aired in 2018, featuring Macy Chiasson and Juan Espino as the winners at women’s featherweight and heavyweight.
