Former UFC Welterweight Champion hasn’t found much success since moving up to the middleweight division, winning just one of two fights in the division.
After a long run with Team Takedown, the former welterweight champion is making a change as he prepares for UFC 217 and that comes in the form of training at the Jackson-Winklejohn camp.
Hendricks announced the change himself through a video posted on Twitter:
There is no word at this time of the move to camp Jackson-Winklejohn is a permanent move for the former welterweight champ or if it is just a one-time move.
The middleweight contender is facing Paulo Borrachinha at UFC 217, there is no word yet on the fight's placement on the card.
UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
