Jon Jones, Conor McGregor & Khabib Nurmagomedov Hearings Set For Tuesday

MMA

Three of the UFC?s biggest stars will finally have their time in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) as UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor and UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will all have their cases heard this coming Tuesday (1/29).

The NSAC released their agenda online today and all three fighters are listed on it, which you can view by clicking here.

Nurmagomedov and McGregor will have their potential punishments handed out by the NSAC for their roles in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl. Nurmagomedov and McGregor have both been provisionally suspended already by the NSAC, while Nurmagomedov had his fight purse withheld due to the brawl.

Jones will have his case heard as the fighter is attempting to get a license to fight in the state of Nevada, as Jones is scheduled to defend the UFC Light Heavyweight Title against Anthony Smith this March at UFC 235. Jones was supposed to fight in Nevada at UFC 232, but the NSAC found an abnormality in his drug test and the location of the event was switched to Inglewood, California. VADA recently released Jones? weigh-in day drug tests results and it came back positive for a long term metabolite that commissions already knew was in the fighter?s system.

Fightful will provide updates from the meeting once it has concluded.
