UFC announced that UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones will defend his title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in the main event.
UFC 309 will take place on November 16th from Madison Square Garden.
The bout was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 295 in November 2023, but Jones suffered an injury in October 2023 that forced him to pull out of the fight.
Miocic has not fought since being knocked out by Francis Ngannou at UFC 260 in March 2021. Jones hasn't fought since defeating Ciryl Gane to win the UFC Heavyweight Title at UFC 285 in March 2023.
