Jon Jones Offers To Fight Mike Tyson In Boxing & MMA Bouts

Boxing great Mike Tyson has been hinting at making a return to the sport after posting some training videos online.

Tyson recently commented on MMA fighter pay and the boxing great says the only way Jones would clear $100 million is to fight him.

?A UFC [fighter] will never be richer than a first class [boxer],? Tyson said during a recent live chat (via Damon Martin of MMA Fighting). ?To make a hundred million dollars, Conor [McGregor] had to fight Floyd [Mayweather]! Even if he fights Jon Jones, he?s not going to get that. Jon Jones gotta fight me if he wants to make some super money.?

Jones has been at the center of the fighter pay controversy in MMA, which started after he and UFC President Dana White had a spat over the alleged amount of money Jones wanted for a fight against Francis Ngannou.

The UFC Light Heavyweight Champion would call out Tyson on Instagram, suggesting they have both a boxing match and MMA fight.

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor did venture into boxing to face Floyd Mayweather, so a potential Jones versus Tyson bout may not be that far off from happening.
