Jon Jones Says He’s In Negotiations With UFC For White House Card

Jon Jones could be coming out of retirement to fight at the UFC White House card.
Making a public appearance, Jones said, “I’m in negotiations with the UFC about this White House thing as well. I’m a very, very, very proud American, and I cannot wait to represent one more time, so we’ll see what happens.”
Jon Jones confirms my report from yesterday that he is in fact talking to the UFC about fighting at the White House.
He doesn’t mention an opponent but fight would be versus Alex Pereira.
It’s without a doubt the best option. Not done though.
Let’s see if they can get this… pic.twitter.com/bdEmw4ozfs

The UFC White House event is scheduled for June 14.
Jon Jones announced his retirement in June 2025. He was the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion at the time of his retirement. He last fought in September 2024, defeating Stipe Miocic.
Ariel Helwani reported that the UFC is trying to make a fight between Jones and Alex Pereira. Pereira vacated the UFC Light Heavyweight Title earlier this week.
