Jon Jones still has feelings for his old flame, light heavyweight.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jones relinquished the championship to prepare for a move up a weight class to heavyweight. Jan Blachowicz defeated Dominick Reyes in the co-main event of UFC 253, capturing the title previously vacated by Jones.
Jones would take to Twitter to congratulate Blachowicz on winning the gold before hinting at possibly returning to light heavyweight to recapture the belt he never lost:
Would you guys be annoyed if I went back and grabbed my belt real quick?

Blachowicz was the first person outside of either Jones or former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier to hold the UFC light heavyweight title in over nine years. Blachowicz called out Jones after defeating Reyes at UFC 253, so he may get his wish after all.
There has been no response from Blachowicz after the comments made by Jones on Twitter.
