Junior dos Santos sings the praises of American Top Team.
Coconut Creek, Florida is home to American Top Team's MMA gym and A.T.T. has a number of fighters that represent or have represented the brand and gym such as Greg Hardy, the late Kimbo Slice, WWE Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley, UFC Women's Bantamweight and Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos.
dos Santos chatted with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald at the American Top Team facility and during the interview, dos Santos spoke about what it has been like for him to train at A.T.T. and said that their gym in Florida is the best MMA facility in the world.
“I’m very happy to be a part of this team. I think it’s the greatest facility for MMA, for martial arts in the world. This gym is amazing, and like you said, we have so many good people around here training here so if I look to my side, I see one guy going hard and I look to the other side, another guy is going even harder -- that’s motivation for me to go hard too." dos Santos laughed. "So, its been very good for me to be a part of it.”
Junior dos Santos recently bested Derrick Lewis at UFC Fight Night 146 and this coming July, Junior will reportedly make his return to the octagon to square off with Francis Ngannou at UFC 239.
