UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman last defended the gold against former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 245.

Usman seems interested in facing Jorge Masvidal next, but the champion believes that Masvidal is going to be doing everything he can to avoid losing to the welterweight title holder.

The UFC Welterweight Champion would take to Twitter to accuse Masvidal of ducking him:

Masvidal has previously stated that he would rather face former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor instead of Masvidal, but the fighter has changed his tune in the last few days. Masvidal does sit at #3 in the UFC Welterweight Division rankings and Usman has already defeated the two fighters who are ranked ahead of Masvidal (the aforementioned Covington and former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley).
