Karolina Kowalkiewiecz Says Joanna Jedrzejczyk Is The Hardest Fight Of Her Life

MMA

Karolina Kowalkiewiecz is preparing to challenge UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the gold at UFC 205, a fight that Kowalkiewiecz knows will be the hardest fight of her MMA career.

“I know it will be the hardest fight of my life,” Kowalkiewicz said to MMA Junkie. “For her, it will be the hardest fight of her life. Two girls from Poland fighting on the biggest event in the world. It will be a great fight and I hope you will like it. You can expect a lot of punches, elbows, blows and that stuff. I don’t know (how I win), but I know one thing: At the end of the fight my hands will be up.”

Despite the fact that Kowalkiewiecz is going to be competing in the biggest fight of her career, the undefeated fighter still can't believe she has made it this far.

“Still I can’t believe that I am here,” Kowalkiewicz said. “I work for this my whole life and now I am here. …I am undefeated like Joanna. I am No. 2 in the UFC ranking and this is the best I can be because I am still very young. I’m 31, I want to have children so this is a good time.”

UFC 205 takes place on Saturday, November 12 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor headlining.
