Kevin Lee Tears ACL In Right Knee, Undergoes Another Surgery

Kevin Lee is quickly becoming one of the unluckiest fighters currently on the UFC roster, as the fighter has now suffered a torn ACL in his right knee.

The fighter tore the ACL in his right knee while rehabbing the left knee, which already had ACL surgery done on it a few months back. Lee posted the following video on Instagram, revealing what happened to his right knee:

Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie provided the following transcript of what Lee said in the above video:

“I hurt it while trying to recover from this one. But honestly, I’m not that discouraged about it. I feel like I’ve been on this path for a long-ass time, like last 10 years, and I’ve seen all of this (expletive) happening. I didn’t know I was going to have it, but I knew for sure it was going to happen. I guess God wants me to have two strong knees. So when I come back, I’m going to (expletive) somebody up. I feel like I’m on the right path.”

There is no word yet on when Lee will return to action, but the fighter needed at least six months to recover from the first surgery. Another six months may be needed for the right knee to fully recover.
