Forbes recently released the list of the most popular celebrities in the country of Russia who are under 40 and Nurmagomedov topped the list. Forbes also reported that Nurmagomedov made approximately $16.5 million for the fiscal year, which ended in April of 2020.
Outside of fighting, another way that Nurmagomedov has been able to make money is through sponsorship deals with Reebok, Toyota, Gorilla Energy Drink and Alhadaya. Nurmagomedov also takes bookings as a speaker, with each speech earning the fighter approximately $78,000 USD.
Some of the other Russian celebrities that Nurmagomedov topped in the Forbes list was musician Egor Kreed, hockey star Alexander Ovchekin, NHL star Artemi Panarin, tennis star Daniil Medvedev and singer Olga Buzova.
Nurmagomedov, who is preparing for his upcoming title defense at UFC 253, has yet to comment on this latest accomplishment.
