Bantamweight contenders Kyler Phillips and Raphael Assuncao will fight at a yet-to-be-announced UFC event on July 24, first reported by Phillips himself who revealed the fight booking via a story post on his Instagram account. Phillips is 3-0 currently inside of the Octagon and last defeated Song Yadong via a unanimous decision at UFC 259. Assuncao on the other hand will try to avoid losing four in a row against Phillips, he was last defeated by former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandy via a buzzer-beating second-round knockout at UFC 250.

Chase Hooper vs. Steven Peterson booked for UFC 263 in June

Featherweight prospect Chase Hooper will get his next test in the form of Steven Peterson when the two meet at UFC 263 on June 12, first reported by BJPenn.com's Cole Shelton. Hooper is coming off of a third-round submission victory due to a heel hook over Peter Barrett back at UFC 256, while Peterson is 2-4 in his six Octagon appearances last knocking out Martin Bravo in the second round at UFC Fight Night 159 in September 2019.

Highly touted bantamweight prospects Adrian Yanez and Randy Costa will collide at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on July 24, first reported by MMAJunkie's Nolan King. Yanez is 3-0 in the Octagon so far with all three victories coming via finishes, the most recent coming over Gustavo Lopez at UFC Vegas 22 via a third-round knockout. Costa is 2-1 in his current stint with the promotion and most recently knocked out Journey Newson in just 41 seconds at UFC Vegas 11.

Felipe Corrales now faces Luke Sanders at UFC Vegas 25

Due to multiple opponent removals, Felipe Corrales and Luke Sanders will now fight at this Saturday night's UFC Vegas 25 event, first reported by Tudo Sobre MMA's Kelvin Ramirez. Sanders is coming off of a second-round submission loss due to a rear-naked choke at UFC Vegas 15 to Nate Maness, whereas Corrales dropped a unanimous decision to Montel Jackson at UFC Fight Night 166 in his last outing.

After a COVID-19 cancellation, featherweights Bill Algeo and Ricardo Ramos will now meet at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on May 22, first reported by MMAJunkie's Farah Hannoun and Nolan King. Dricus Du Plessis and Trevin Giles will get a second chance at competing against one another as the pair is being targeted for a bout at UFC 264 on July 10, first reported by MMAJunkie's Nolan King. Du Plessis is coming off an emphatic UFC debut back at UFC Fight Island 5 where he knocked out Markus Perez in the first round. Giles on the other hand is 3-2 since moving back to 185 pounds, coming off consecutive victories over James Krause and Bevon Lewis.

Vitaly Bigdash has been forced out of his title rematch with ONE light heavyweight champion Aung La Nsang at this week's ONE on TNT 4 event due to a positive COVID-19 test. Undefeated dutchmen Reinier de Ridder will now fill in for Bigdash to face Nsang, first reported by ESPN's Ariel Helwani. Nsang will look to avenge his last loss which was to de Ridder, he submitted the Burmese champion in the first round due to a rear-naked choke at ONE Championship: Inside The Matrix.

Makwan Amirkhani vs. Nate Landwehr slated for UFC event in June

Featherweights Makwan Amirkhani and Nate Landwehr will meet at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on June 5, first reported by MMA DNA. Amirkhani is 3-2 in his last five Octagon outings and dropped a unanimous decision defeat to Edson Barboza at UFC Island 5 in his most recent appearance. Landwehr on the other hand is 1-2 in his current stint with the promotion and was TKO'd in just 56 seconds by Julian Erosa at UFC Vegas 19 in his last fight.

Gleison Tibau now takes on Joao Zeferino at PFL 2

With their opponent's Alexey Kunchenko and Magomed Magomedkerimov both having to withdraw from their respective bouts at this Friday night's PFL 2 event, welterweights Gleison Tibau and Joao Zeferino will now face other first reported by Sherdog's Tristen Critchfield. Tibau the longtime UFC veteran will be making his promotional debut against Zeferino and last defeated former Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks via a first-round submission due to a guillotine choke at Battlefield FC 2 in July 2019. Whereas Zeferino has gone 4-1 in his last five fights and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Bojan Velickovic at PFL 4.
