Nguyen (16-8-0) is competing for the first time since getting cut by the UFC, which came after a loss to Wilson Reis at UFC Fight Night Adelaide. Nguyen picked up a 4-3-0 record while competing under the UFC banner, but hasn’t win a fight in well over a year.
