Lightweight Title Bout Headlines LFA 34

The Legacy Fighting Alliance Lightweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of LFA 34 as Robert Watley defends the gold against Brandon Jenkins.

Watley (9-1-0) is making the second defense of his championship, last defending it against Daryl Wilson at LFA 27 in November of 2017. Watley won the LFA Lightweight Title back at LFA 17 in July 2017, defeating Brazilian Thiago Moises by unanimous decision. Watley also enters the bout on the strength of a nine fight winning streak and that has lasted over three years now.

Jenkins (10-4-0) has won two of three fights under the LFA banner, defeating the duo of Billy Christianson and Carl Wittstock. Jenkins has suffered four defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with three of those losses coming by way of decision, with the other loss coming by submission. Jenkins also competed in the King Of The Cage promotion, winning two of the three bouts he fought at in the organization.

Legacy Fighting Alliance 34 takes place on Friday, March 2 from the Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, Minnesota with Robert Watley and Brandon Jenkins headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
