Floyd Mayweather Camps Sues Company For $120 Million

Floyd Mayweather and his team are not happy about the location for Mayweather's June 6 Boxing exhibition match with Logan Paul.

The bout, set to go down in Miami, Florida was reportedly first agreed to happen in Dubai before the event organizers 'dropped the ball' according to Mayweather's camp, which has resulted in a $120 million lawsuit.

From TMZ:

"Mayweather Promotions claims PAC claimed to have "numerous business contacts in Dubai" and "had the financial wherewithal and capability to host a fight of this magnitude."

Most importantly, Mayweather Promotions says PAC "presented financial projections estimating the fight could generate guaranteed amounts for each participant, plus result in the promoters earning more than $100 million in profits after covering all purses and expenses."

Mayweather Promotions admits it was impressed with the pitch and claims it ultimately signed a deal requiring PAC to pay a minimum guaranteed amount of $110 MILLION on a 'prescribed payment schedule.'

Mayweather Promotions claims the 1st payment of $30 million was due on March 25, 2021 -- but the money never came.

Mayweather Promotions claims the missed payment triggered a clause allowing MP to terminate the deal while still requiring PAC to fork up the full $110 million.

In the suit, Mayweather Promotions claims they were left scrambling to make new fight plans -- and ultimately worked out a deal to move the fight to Miami on June 6."

Dana White Reportedly Blocked Georges St-Pierre From Triller Boxing Bout

UFC President Dana White has reportedly blocked the company's former longtime welterweight champion from stepping into the Boxing ring.

Confirmed by Bloody Elbow, Legendary boxer Oscar de La Hoya stated that Dana White nixed a potential boxing matchup between he and St-Pierre.

“This f—k nut (Dana White) kept Georges St-Pierre from making the biggest payday with me,” de La Hoya claimed.

“Dana White and UFC just blocked Georges St-Pierre from fighting Oscar De La Hoya,” said head of Triller Ryan Kavanaugh. “It is a big payday for GSP and both he and Oscar’s dream to fight each other."

“Dana would rather hold back those who put the UFC where it is and why?” Kavanaugh continued. “I’ve tried to call and text Dana at least five times to make it work for both parties, not even the courtesy of a return call.”
