Maryna Moroz No Longer Wants To Fight At Strawweight

Maryna Moroz is in action Saturday Night at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia, facing Sabina Mazo in a flyweight division encounter.

Expect Moroz to stay in the flyweight division going forward, as she doesn?t want to fight at strawweight anymore.

?If they said to me, let?s drop to 115 again, I would say, ?No, please!? It?s hard,? Moroz told MMA Junkie.

Moroz currently holds a 3-3-0 record under the UFC banner and all six of those bouts took place in the women?s strawweight division.

If there was one huge benefit Moroz has already experience while preparing for a flyweight division debut, it would be that she has more energy.

?More energy,? she said. ?I can eat. Everything. And I?m ready to fight. I want to fight because for one year, I didn?t have a fight. I?m happy to come back to the octagon. I want to win. This fight, I need for me.?

UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
