Report: Maryna Moroz Faces Sabina Mazo At UFC Fight Night Philadelphia

A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Philadelphia according to Farah Hannoun as Maryna Moroz is going to be in action against Sabina Mazo.

Moroz (8-3-0) is going to be making her UFC Women’s Flyweight Division debut in this encounter, having previously fought at strawweight. Moroz also enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Carla Esparza and Angela Hill. Moroz is also returning to action for the first time in over a year, with her last bout taking place in February of 2018.

Mazo (6-0-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has already lasted over three years. Mazo is a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Shannon Sinn to win the gold at LFA 37. Mazo has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of decision.

UFC Fight Night Philadelphia takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with Edson Barboza and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN 2.
