Megan Olivi Confirms Positive COVID-19 Test, Since Recovered

After an extended layoff due to a positive COVID-19 test, UFC backstage reporter Megan Olivi will return to the broadcast this weekend for UFC 258.

In news that appears to have flown under the radar, Olivi confirmed she had tested positive for the novel coronavirus a few weeks back.

In a subsequent response to an Instagram commenter, she detailed her recovery and health clearance process. Olivi said she had fully recovered, and gone through the proper CDC quarantine process, and even gotten full antibody testing before breaking her quarantine.

"Hey wannabe woke guy - I had a positive test weeks ago. I did the full CDC quarantine, had four tests since (all negatives) and did the blood test to show I have the antibodies," Olivia wrote. "You picked the wrong one to try virtue signal on"

UFC 258 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, February 13. The pay-per-view card is headlined by a UFC welterweight title fight between champion Kamaru Usman and top contender Gilbert Burns. Keep up with Fightful.com for all your pre-fight, live, and post-fight coverage.
