Mizuki Inoue Off Invicta FC 26, Kinberly Novaes In

Mizuki Inoue has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from Invicta FC 26, replacing her against Janaisa Morandin is going to be Kinberly Novaes.

Morandin (9-1-0) is currently winless under the Invicta FC banner, dropping a fight to Livia Renata Souza by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 25. Morandin spent the majority of her professional MMA career in the Aspera Fighting Championships, winning all six fights that were fought in the company. Morandin has only seen four of her ten professional MMA fights go the distance, having a 3-1-0 record in those four fights.

Novaes (9-3-0) is going to be making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and the bout will also mark the competitors North American MMA debut. Novaes recently challenged for the Pancrase Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to Syuri Kondo by decision at Pancrase 287. Novaes has seen her last three MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over four years since the last time the fighter earned a finish.

Invicta Fighting Championships 26 takes place on Friday, December 8 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Jennifer Maia and Agnieszka Niedzwiedz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
