The UFC and Top Rank Boxing has been cleared by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) to run events in the state of Nevada.

NAC Executive Director Bob Bennett says that the commission?s coronavirus protocols closely mirror that of the UFC?s, but MMA Junkie has obtained a document showing additional protocols from the NAC.

Those additional protocols include:

- All event personnel must be quarantined after getting coronavirus tests and must remain in quarantine until the event is over, while the UFC must have knowledge of where personnel is quarantining.

- The venue the event is held at will be closed to the public, with those being allowed to enter the venue being subject to temperature monitoring, a questionnaire, oral fluid collection for PCR testing, and quarantine until test results come back.

- Anybody who enters the event venue must be educated by the CDC, either through online classes or via email, about the safety measures surrounding the coronavirus.

- Those who enter the venue most answer the following questions before getting clearance: Have you had a fever in the past 72 hours that was at or above 99.5 F? Have you come into contact with someone with COVID-19? If so, when? In the past two weeks, have you traveled to or from an area that is considered high risk, and/or been under a government-mandated quarantine period? In the past 72 hours, have you experienced any of the following symptoms: Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or cough, fever, headache chills, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, diarrhea, fatigue.

- The FDA approved coronavirus test is the preferred testing method.

- If anybody does test positive for the coronavirus, what will happen is?the individual will remain in quarantine and an infectious disease expert will be consulted.?

- Any personnel on site must observe Nevada?s social distancing rules.

- Anybody who tests positive must quarantine in the state of Nevada for 14 days, while solo car travel can be permitted if the affected person doesn?t live in the state, air travel will only be permitted after getting clearance from the NAC.

- Person(s) who violates any of the rules can be punished by the NAC.
