Nate Diaz is never one to shy away from a fight, but a recent mockery of Gilbert Burns on Twitter ended with Diaz getting challenged by Dan Hooker.
Everything kicked off with Diaz sharing a video of Burns by defeated by Hooker two years ago:

Which led to the following exchange between Diaz and Israel Adesanya:

Diaz: “Your boys the #1 welterweight right now”
Burns would chime in next on Twitter, pointing out Diaz’s 12 losses as a professional MMA fighter.
Hooker would enter the fray next, challenging Diaz to a fight:

That led to Diaz answering the tweet from Hooker, saying he would fight Hooker at 165 pounds.
It would appear that after a lengthy Twitter exchange, a bout between Hooker and Diaz could be in our future.
