Nik Lentz Battles Leonardo Santos At UFC Fight Night Utica

A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Utica card as Nik Lentz is going to be in action against Leonardo Santos.

Lentz (28-8-2-1NC) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those trio of victories coming over Danny Castillo, Michael McBride and Will Brooks. Lentz has also competed as a featherweight in the UFC, earning a record of 4-2-0 in that weight class. Lentz hasn’t seen one of his fights end with a first round finish in over five years, with the last opening round win for the fighter coming over Eiji Mitsuoka at UFC 150.

Santos (16-3-1) has won four of five fights in the UFC, with his lone blemish in the promotion being a majority draw against Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night 38. Santos hasn’t suffered a loss in almost nine years, with that last defeat coming to Kazunori Yokota at Sengoku: 8th Battle. Santos is returning to action for the first time in almost two years, with his last bout coming against Adriano Martins at UFC 204.

UFC Fight Night Utica takes place on Friday, June 1 from the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, New York with Marlon Moraes and Jimmie Rivera headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
