Pat Curran vs. AJ McKee Headlines Bellator 205, Co-Main Event Also Set

The main event is set for this Septembers Bellator 205 card as former Bellator MMA Featherweight Champion Pat Curran faces AJ McKee

Curran (23-7-0) enters the contest on the strength of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of John Teixeira, Georgi Karakhanyan and Emmanuel Sanchez. Curran is also a former two time Bellator MMA Featherweight Champion, defeating Patricio Pitbull and Daniel Straus to start both reigns. Curran also headlines a Bellator card for the first time in almost four years, with his last main event bout coming at Bellator 123.

McKee (11-0-0) has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in Bellator, with seven victories in the promotion coming by KO/TKO or submission. McKee has previously headlined a Bellator card, having defeated Brian Moore by third round submission at Bellator 187. McKee did suffer a single defeat as an amateur MMA fighter and that came to Christian Espinoza in June of 2013.  

In the co-main event of the event, it is going to be a middleweight division clash as John Salter is in action against Rafael Lovato Jr.  

Bellator 205 takes place on Friday, September 21 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Pat Curran and AJ McKee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
