It has been over two years since Patrick Cummins defeated Gian Villante by split decision at UFC On Fox 25, but it turns out that the win by Cummins would be the final one of his professional MMA career.
That's because Cummins would take to Instagram to announce his retirement from professional MMA competition:
Cummins picked up a 10-7-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, with notable wins coming over Kyle Kingsbury, Antonio Carlos Jr., Rafael Cavalcante and Jan Blachowicz. Cummins also ends his professional MMA career on a three fight losing skid, dropping bouts to the trio of Corey Anderson, Misha Cirkunov and Ed Herman. Cummins last competed at UFC Fight Night Rochester, suffering a first round TKO loss to the aforementioned Herman.
