Paul Felder Signs Multi-Deal Contract With UFC, Eyeing Title Run

Paul Felder was last seen in action in the main event of UFC Vegas 14, but fans will get to see a lot more of Felder in the future because the fighter has signed a new multi-fight contract with the promotion.

Brian Butler of Sucker Punch Entertainment announced the following in a statement to MMA Fighting:

UFC 301 Results and Highlights: Alexandre Pantoja Edges Steve Erceg

“It’s great to see Paul getting the love and respect from the MMA community and truly becoming the people’s champ. We are happy to announce that we have extended his contract with the UFC and have eyes set on another run at the title. A lot of fun fights ahead, stay tuned.”

Felder, who is ranked #8 in the UFC lightweight division, is riding a two fight losing streak at the moment, losing to Dan Hooker at UFC Fight Night Auckland and losing to Rafael Dos Anjos in a  bout he accepted on less than a weeks notice at UFC Vegas 14.

There is no word at this time as to when Felder will compete in the Octagon next.
