The commission, which warned Munhoz before the fight to not exit the Octagon in the matter that the fighter did, has fined Munhoz $2,500 for those actions according to MMA Fighting. The commission met this past Wednesday and also decided to fine Munhoz an additional $327.06 in prosecution fees, which must be paid before Munhoz can compete again.

Members of the NSAC also reiterated the fact that any fighter exiting the cage in celebration will get reprimanded by the commission.

It is unknown at this time if Munhoz has already paid the fines or if not, when that payment is going to be happening.

Munhoz is scheduled to fight Aljamain Sterling this June at UFC 238 and that bout will still go on as scheduled in Munhoz pays the fines levied by the NSAC, with UFC 238 scheduled for Saturday, June 8.

There has been no comment from either the UFC or Munhoz on the ruling by the NSAC at this time.
