“I can’t say how far I am in the division. Next I want Jimmie Rivera, top six, and then we will see after that,” said Yan after the event (via MMA Junkie).

Rivera last competed at UFC Fight Night Phoenix, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Aljamain Sterling in the featured preliminary card bout.

Yan has now called out a a future foe, but a date for a return to action has yet to be established by the recently victorious Yan.

“I fought four times in eight months,” Yan said. “What do you think? Is it frequent or not? Do you think I need to rest, or not?”

There has been no response to the challenge from Yan by Rivera, who sits at #6 in the UFC Bantamweight Division rankings, while Yan is current standing at #14. Yan now stands at 4-0-0 under the UFC banner and that includes four wins in less than a year in the promotion.
