Tonight?s Bellator 250 card is still on, but it does so with three less bouts on the card, as Veta Arteaga vs. Desiree Yanez, Nick Newell vs. Zach Zane and Jared Scoggins vs. Toby Misech are all off the event.
MMA Junkie first reported the news for Arteaga vs. Yanez and Newell vs. Zane, while Scoggins vs. Misech was pulled for the event after Misech came in too heavy for the bout.
Yanez took to Instagram to reveal that her bout was canceled after Arteaga tested positive for COVID-19:
The bout between Newell and Zane was reportedly called off after Newell couldn?t get clearance from the Mohegan Tribe Department Of Athletic Regulation.
There is no word yet as to whether or not the canceled bouts will get rescheduled or if the fighters will go their separate ways.
