A lightweight division clash is a late addition to UFC Fight Night Adelaide according to MMA Junkie as Alex Gorgees is in action against Damir Ismagulov.
Gorgees (6-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Gorgees has also competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round. Gorgees also competed a total of four times in 2017 and three of those encounters took place in the Urban Fight Night promotion.
Ismagulov (16-2-0) is also going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of an eleven fight winning streak. Ismagulov has held both the M-1 Global and Naiza Fighter Championship Lightweight Titles, but now relinquishes both as he has signed with the UFC. Ismagulov hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years and that last loss came to Ramazan Esenbaev at M-1 Challenge 61.
