There is a late addition to the UFC Fight Night Austin card according to Farah Hannoun and it comes in the form of a lightweight division bout as Alex Morono faces Josh Burkman.

Morono (13-4-0-1NC) has won just two of four under the UFC banner, with those two victories coming over Kyle Noke and James Moontasri. Morono also had an extended run in the Legacy Fighting Championships, where he defeated Bellator MMA/WSOF veteran Valdir Araujo. Morono has seen three of his four fights in the UFC go the distance, holding a record of 2-1-0 in those bouts.

Burkman (28-16-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a four fight losing streak and he hasn’t earned a victory in just over two years. Burkman has won just one of eight since returning to the UFC and that lone win came over KJ Noons at UFC Fight Night 82. Burkman has previously challenged for the WSOF Welterweight Title, losing to then champion Steve Carl at the WSOF 6 in 2013.

UFC Fight Night Austin takes place on Sunday, February 18 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with Donald Cerrone and Yancy Medeiros headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
