A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Lincoln according to MMA Weekly as #11 Alexa Grasso faces #15 Angela Hill.
Grasso (10-2-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout her UFC run, with the last fight being a loss to Tatiana Suarez at UFC Fight Night Chile. Grasso also competed four times under the Invicta FC banner, where she holds a win over UFC veteran Jodie Esquibel. Grasso has picked up a total of ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, but none of those victories have come by way of submission.
Hill (8-4-0) has won two of four in her second run with the UFC, with those victories coming over the duo of Ashley Yoder and Maryna Moroz. Hill is also a former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion, defeating Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 17 to claim the gold. Hill also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Carla Esparza.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, August 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Justin Gaethje and Al Iaquinta headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
