A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige as Anderson Dos Santos faces Jack Shore.
Combate first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the preliminary card.
Dos Santos (20-8-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped bouts to the duo of Nad Narimani and Andre Ewell. Dos Santos hasn’t picked up a win in almost two years, with his last win coming in November of 2018. Dos Santos has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of submission.
Shore (12-0-0) has already picked up one win in UFC competition and that came over Nohelin Hernandez at UFC Fight Night Copenhagen. Shore is a former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion, but he relinquished the belt upon signing with the UFC last year. Shore has picked up twelve wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige takes place on Wednesday, July 15 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
