A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 232 according to Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal as #13 Andrei Arlovski battles Walt Harris.
Arlovski (27-17-0-1NC) has won just two of his last nine under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over the duo of Junior Albini and Stefan Struve. Arlovski is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, defeating Tim Sylvia by first round submission to win the gold at UFC 51 in February of 2005. Arlovski has seen his last five bouts go the distance and it has been over three years since the fighter got a finish.
Harris (11-7-0) has won just one of his last three fights in the UFC, with that lone victory coming over Daniel Spitz at UFC Fight Night Utica. Harris has seen three of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter has last all of those encounters. Harris is currently in his second run with the UFC and does hold an overall record of 4-6-0 in the promotion.
UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
