Report: Arnold Allen Faces Enrique Barzola At UFC 220

A featherweight division attraction could be added to the upcoming UFC 220 card as Arnold Allen may be fighting Enrique Barzola.

Allen (12-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, last defeating Makwan Amirkhani by split decision at UFC Fight Night 107. Allen hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over three years and that last defeat came to Marcin Wrzosek at Cage Warriors 69 in July of 2014. Allen has only competed once a year since 2015, but the competitor one each of his appearances in that time frame.

Barzola (13-3-1) enters the bout on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Chris Avila and Gabriel Benitez. Barzola has seen his last four fights go the distance and the competitor has won three of those four bouts, while suffering a lone defeat to Kyle Bochniak at UFC On Fox 21. Barzola also won the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2, defeating Horacio Gutierrez in the reality show finals.

UFC 220 takes place on Saturday, January 20 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
