A new threat is reportedly making his way to Bellator as the promotion has signed Steven MacDonald to a multi-fight deal.
MMA Empire first reported the news.
MacDonald (4-0-0) is the current Xcessive Force Fighting Championship light heavyweight champion, defeating William Carriere by unanimous decision at XFFC 21 in March of 2019. MacDonald hasn’t competed in just about a year, with his last bout happening in October of last year. MacDonald has picked up two of four wins by KO/TKO, with the other two victories coming by way of decision. MacDonald has fought just once before outside of the XFFC promotion, which was a first round knockout win over Phil Towler at Rumble In the Cage 62.
There is no word at this time as to when MacDonald will make his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
