Report: Ben Rothwell vs. Marcin Tybura Booked For October 10 UFC Card

A heavyweight throwdown between Ben Rothwell and Marcin Tybura has reportedly been added to the expected UFC card on October 10.

MMA Fighting first reported the bout. Rothwell (38-12-0) enters the contest riding a two-fight winning streak, defeating Stefan Struve and Ovince St. Preux. Rothwell has not suffered a defeat in over a year. His last loss came against Andrei Arlovski at UFC Fight Night San Antonio. Rothwell has finished 28 of his professional wins by way of KO/TKO.

Tybura (19-6-0) also comes into this bout on the strength of a two-fight winning streak, earning victories over Sergey Spivak and Maxim Grishin. Tybura’s last four victories have come by way of decision. It has been over three years since he got a finish. Four of his professional losses are by KO/TKO.

The yet-to-be-announced UFC card is expected to air on Saturday, October 10. No location or main event has been confirmed. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event.
