Report: Blaine O’Driscoll Faces Jake Hadley At Bellator 227

A flyweight division attraction is the latest addition to Bellator 227 according to MMA Fighting as Blaine O’Driscoll is going to be in action against Jake Hadley.

O’Driscoll (7-2-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. O’Driscoll is the current World Warriors Fighting Championship Flyweight Champion, defeating Teimur Ragimov to win the gold at WWFC 14 in March of this year. O’Driscoll has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those encounters went the distance.

Hadley (4-0-0) is also going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over a year. Hadley is also the current Extreme Fighting Championship Flyweight Champion, defeating Nkazimulo Zulu to win the gold at EFC Worldwide 78 in April of this year. Hadley has picked up four wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those victories came by way of submission.

Bellator 227 takes place on Saturday, September 27 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with Ben Henderson and Myles Jury headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
