Report: Calvin Kattar vs. Dan Ige Headlines July 15 UFC Card

A featherweight division attraction will reportedly headline the July 15 UFC card as #6 Calvin Kattar faces #11 Dan Ige.

Kattar (21-4-0) is going to be headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for almost three years. Kattar has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Chris Fishgold, Ricardo Lamas and Jeremy Stephens. Kattar has picked up twenty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Ige (14-2-0) is also headlining his first UFC card and does so on the strength of a six fight winning streak. Ige hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over two years, with that last loss coming to Julio Arce at UFC 220 in January of 2018. Ige has competed a total of sixteen times as a professional MMA fighter and half of those bouts went the distance.

UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige takes place on Wednesday, July 15 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi with Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
