A welterweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night Prague card according to Sherdog as Carlo Pedersoli Jr. is going to be in action against Dwight Grant.
Grant (8-2-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Zak Ottow by split decision at UFC On Fox 31. Grant earned a contract with the UFC after competing on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 10, defeating Tyler Hill by second round knockout. Grant has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came by way of decision.
Pedersoli Jr (11-2-0) has won just one of two bouts thus far in UFC competition, with that lone win coming over Brad Scott at UFC Fight Night Liverpool. Pedersoli Jr also competed once in the Cage Warriors promotion, defeating UFC veteran Nicolas Dalby by split decision at Cage Warriors 93. Pedersoli Jr has seen just five of his thirteen professional MMA bouts go the distance, with Pedersoli Jr picking up wins in four of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
