A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to Bellator 238 as Chris Avila is in action against Anthony Taylor.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the preliminary card.
Avila (6-8-0) has won just one of his last seven bouts, with that lone victory coming over Brandon Pieper at Bellator 212. Avila went winless during a brief stint in the UFC, dropping bouts to the duo of Artem Lobov and Enrique Barzola. Avila has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of decision.
Taylor (5-5-0) is competing in Bellator MMA for the first time in almost three years and he enters the bout while riding a three fight winning streak. Taylor won just one of four during his first run with Bellator MMA, with that lone win coming over Victor Jones at Bellator 154. Taylor has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and four of them came by way of submission.
Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the Forum in Inglewood, California with Julia Budd and Cyborg headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
