A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 254 as #2 Cynthia Calvillo faces #4 Lauren Murphy.

Calvillo (9-1-1) has been undefeated since moving up to flyweight, defeating Jessica Eye by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo. Calvillo had won five of seven in the UFC when competing at strawweight, with notable wins coming over Pearl Gonzalez, Joanne Calderwood and Cortney Casey. Calvillo has competed a total of eleven times as a professional MMA fighter and six of those bouts went the distance.
Murphy (13-4-0) enters the contest on a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Mara Romero Borrella, Andrea Lee and Roxanne Modafferi. Murphy hasn’t been defeated in over two years, with that last loss coming to Sijara Eubanks at UFC Fight Night Utica. Murphy has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts have ended by submission.
UFC 254 takes place on Saturday, October 24 from a location to be announced and with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
