Deiveson Figueiredo Wants Brandon Moreno Rematch In June, Says Manager

Flyweights Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno appear to have a target date for their UFC flyweight title rematch.

After going through a grueling war that ended in a majority drawback at UFC 256, the two seem intent on running it back. During a recent interview with BJPenn.com's Cole Shelton, the UFC flyweight champions Wallid Ismail said they're working on a June date for the Moreno rematch.

“100 percent his next fight is Moreno. We are working on it happening in June. There is no date yet but Deiveson wants June,” Ismail said about Figueiredo's wishes for his next fight.

The promotion and Moreno seemed more intent on the rematch taking place in April or May, but if the reigning flyweight king gets his way, it looks like the Mexican contender will have to wait a while longer for his chances at dethroning Figueiredo.
