One Championship: Dawn Of Heroes is set for Friday, August 2 according to MMA Fighting and it is going to be headlined by a Super Series Muay Thai Flyweight Title bout as Jonathan Haggerty defends against Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
On the MMA side of things, former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez will look to pick up his first promotional win when the Philadelphia native battles former One Lightweight Champion Eduard Folayang in the co-main event of the evening.
Former UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson is also back in action at the event, facing Tatsumitsu Wada in a flyweight grand prix semi-final round bout. While Danny Kingad and Kairat Akhmetov battle in the other flyweight grand prix semi-final round bout.
The other half of the lightweight grand prix semi-finals will happen at this event as well as Honorio Banario is in action against Timofey Nastyukhin.
Another UFC veteran in Yushin Okami is also in action at the event, looking for his first One Championship victory when the MMA star battles James Nakashima.
