Diego Ferreira has been pulled from UFC Vegas 13, where he was scheduled to face Drew Dober in a lightweight division attraction.
Blaine Henry of My MMA News first reported the news. Dober is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are seeking a replacement opponent for him to fight.
Dober (23-9-0-1NC) comes into the bout riding a three fight winning streak with those wins coming over Marco Polo Reyes, Nasrat Haqparast and Alexander Hernandez. Dober competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Daron Cruickshank. Dober also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, which included a win over Strikeforce veteran Lumumba Sayers.
UFC Vegas 13 takes place on Saturday, November 7 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Thiago Santos and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
